Neurotoxins: Botox by Allergan and Xeomin by Merz

Botulinum toxin type A  is a prescription drug that has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The FDA has approved  to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe migraines and moderate to severe glabellar lines (lines between the brows) in adults.

Botulinum toxin type A is a neuromodulator that inhibits nerve impulses and reduces muscle contractions that cause frown lines, crow’s feet, frown lines, and forehead creases. Botox is used to reduce the appearance of excessive sweating, prevent migraines, diminish gummy smiles, and more.

Neurotoxins work by impeding muscle contraction, help in softening facial expressions and preventing wrinkles. Also assist with controlling perspiration, excessive sweat, and hyperhidrosis.

Cosmetic Areas: Forehead, Frown, Eyes wrinkles (Crow’s feet), Nose, Lips, Chin, Neck, Masseter (slimming effect).

Therapeutic use: TMJ Disorder, Bruxism, Clenching, Migraines, Tension Headaches.

What is Botox for Excessive Sweating and Hyperhidrosis?

Botox for excessive sweating and hyperhidrosis is an effective treatment for excessive sweating in the underarm, hands and feet, or other areas affected by this condition. Botox blocks the nerve signals that trigger sweat production in these areas, preventing your sweat glands from producing excessive amounts of sweat.
